FAQ
Do I have to be connected to the Internet to use my software?
No. After initial activation, your software will work offline for 30 days. At that point, you’ll need to reconnect. Don’t worry, we’ll remind you 7 days prior.
How can I purchase a plan?
Any product subscription you purchase online, through your reseller, or with an Autodesk representative will include the Standard plan. To upgrade to Premium, work directly with your Autodesk reseller or representative; to upgrade to Enterprise, please contact your representative directly.
What happened to perpetual licenses?
As of January 2016, Autodesk stopped selling new perpetual licenses. In May 2017, we stopped selling maintenance plans. All Autodesk software is available to buy as a subscription on a plan. Get more information on trading in your perpetual license for an Autodesk subscription.
